Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Cakrawala Sekolah undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the articles published. In this process, both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain objectivity and fairness.

Each submission is first screened by the editorial team to evaluate its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, as well as its adherence to the submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are then sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

The review process consists of two stages:
Initial Review: Reviewers provide comments and recommendations regarding the manuscript’s structure, theoretical foundation, methodology, and academic contribution. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on the feedback.
Final Review: After the revised manuscript is resubmitted, the reviewers or editors evaluate the changes made to ensure that all revisions have been adequately addressed before a final decision is made regarding publication.

The final decision—whether to accept, request further revision, or reject the manuscript—rests with the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s editorial policies.
This rigorous review process reflects the journal’s commitment to maintaining high scholarly standards and promoting high-quality publications in the field of education and learning.
