Publication Ethics

Jurnal Cakrawala Sekolah is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. 1. Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works that have not been published elsewhere or submitted to another journal simultaneously.
Authors must properly cite all sources and avoid all forms of plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data.
All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and must approve the final version of the manuscript.
Authors are responsible for disclosing any conflicts of interest that might influence their research or interpretation of results.
When applicable, authors must ensure that their research has received ethical approval from relevant committees and that consent has been obtained from participants.

2. Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assist the editorial team in making editorial decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of all materials received for review and should not use any part of the content for personal gain.
Reviews should be conducted objectively, free from personal bias regarding nationality, gender, religious belief, or institutional affiliation of the authors.
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and report any potential ethical issues to the editor.

3. Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions on which manuscripts to publish, based on the paper’s academic merit and alignment with the journal’s scope.
Editors must ensure the integrity of the review process, maintaining anonymity and confidentiality for both authors and reviewers.
Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for their own research purposes.
The editorial team should take appropriate action when ethical complaints are reported, including investigations and necessary corrections or retractions.

4. Duties of the Publisher

The publisher supports the journal in maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the proper management of ethical standards.
The publisher is committed to preserving the scholarly record and cooperating with editors and authors to address ethical concerns and prevent publication misconduct.
