Screening Plagiarism
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Inclusive Learning and Student Support (JILSS) will undergo a plagiarism screening process to ensure the originality and integrity of the content. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to check the similarity index of each submission before it enters the review stage.
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or excessive similarity — generally above 20% of overlapping text — will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity of the case.
Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure that all cited works are properly acknowledged and that their manuscripts represent original contributions. Self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and text recycling are considered violations of publication ethics.
The editorial team reserves the right to recheck manuscripts at any stage of the publication process if plagiarism is suspected.
By maintaining this strict screening policy, JILSS aims to uphold academic honesty and ensure that all published works contribute meaningfully and ethically to the field of inclusive education and student support.
